TRAINING CATALOG
This training catalog was developed for staff professional learning in the Strategic Transformation of Education Plan. I designed all elements of the catalog itself, including packetizing trainings based on user needs. I also planned and developed most of the content for the trainings within this catalog.
TRAINING: INTRODUCTION TO BLENDED LEARNING
With the launch of a new initiative to utilize an LMS (Schoology), needs assessment data indicated a misunderstanding around digital learning and a lack of confidence in technology usage. Using the ADDIE model, I recognized a need for school changes to promote blended learning implementation that is differentiated based on school readiness. This training provides staff with background knowledge on blended learning, potential models to implement, and classroom strategies. After content learning, independent or paired reflection activities, organized by grade band, are embedded with an opportunity for virtual collaboration using Padlet.
E-LEARNING: BLENDED LEARNING FOR CONTINUED TRANSFORMATION
After the initial implementation of blended learning using an LMS (Schoology), I determined that staff were at various points of implementation based on comfort with technology as well as lack of understanding of how to engage learners, differentiate for success, and plan for blended learning. This training provides staff with extended knowledge on blended learning based on their individual and collective needs. It allows choice in adult learning using multiple modalities and self-paced learning.

This e-learning was created using Microsoft PowerPoint and iSpring Suite. To incorporate submittable activities, I uploaded the module using SCORM into TalentLMS.

To supplement the training above (Blended Learning for Continued Transformation), I developed a course in Schoology to provide self-paced learning options for staff that met their individual needs. I used TechSmith Screencast to show the course elements for the purpose of this portfolio.
JOB AID: INTERMEDIATE CONTENT CREATION
I developed this job aid to support staff during and after training on Intermediate Content Creation within Schoology. By this point in implementation, staff had a basic understanding of how to create and use materials in a course. However, after analyzing data at both a high-level and course-level, it was evident that the materials created were rudimentary and lacked student engagement. I designed and developed the Intermediate Content Creation module to support the progression of engaging materials for all learners.
